Q: Is shipping included in the price?
A: No, shipping is not included. You can take advantage of All American Truck and Equipment's discounted shipping rate, or choose to drive your vehicle to your destination.
Q: Can you arrange shipping outside the US?
A: Yes we can arrange shipping to any port of your choice. We have become the export experts, so if your needs are to ship outside the United States, then you have come to the right place!
Q: Do I have to pay taxes if I am purchasing out of state?
A: If you have your unit(s) shipped directly from the dealership to any location outside of Florida we do not collect sales tax. You will pay your sales tax when you register your unit in your state.
If you are titling the vehicle in Florida, you will be required to pay the Florida sales tax regardless of how you take delivery.
If the customer chooses to drive the purchased vehicle from our dealership sales tax must be collected as per Florida law.
Q: Do you have financing available?
A: We have finance experts available to work with you personally to explore any and all finance options in accordance to your needs. If we can’t do it no one can!
Q: You don’t have the equipment I am looking for. Can you find it for me?
A: If you don’t see what you are looking for please let us know and we will conduct a search to see what might be available for you. This might even include putting you in touch with another equipment dealer, if that will allow for the best results for you.
Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: We offer extended warranty plans available for purchase, depending on the age and class of your vehicle. Please talk to your sales representative for more details.
Q: What testing do you do on the trucks?
A: Included in the refurbishment process is a complete operation and road test. We can do a dielectric test on your unit if requested. Many customers do not require a dielectric test, so it is only performed when requested.
Q: What does “reconditioned” really mean?
A: “Reconditioned” simply means that the units we offer for sale have been thoroughly inspected to pinpoint any operational items of concern. The unit is then brought into compliance with all requirements for a Florida DOT inspection. We also do a complete makeover providing our customer with a clean, freshly painted truck. Occasionally we offer units for sale that have not been repainted for a discounted price, sold as is. Ask your sales person for details.
Q: Where does your equipment come from?
A: Most of our equipment is acquired from southern power utility companies. The equipment has been maintained by trained professionals and is sold at special facilities. By purchasing this way we can inspect and qualify the equipment before buying it, just as you would when purchasing the finished product.
Q: Do you take equipment on consignment?
A: Yes. The equipment must be physically present on All American Truck and Equipment's lot in Sarasota, FL. You will be required to sign a consignment agreement per Florida law. Ask your sales representative for more details.
Q: Can I use a “Trade In”?
A: Yes, we will trade for almost anything. Your trade-in also doesn't need to be industry related. Let our team of appraisers evaluate your trade in today. Most trade-in's are later sold at auction.
